It also sits pretty low, not for table-use. Hey, but that’s why it’s called a ‘Low Loveseat’, right?

Backrest

That’s also because the top part of it is floppy and not rigid.

Armrests

The armrests are thickly padded, made of the same fabric as the rest of the chair.

Carry Bag

Now, what are the pros and cons?

Adjustable cupholders

Both armrests have a cupholder with a stowable divider for plenty of flexibility.

Lifetime warranty

Kelty covers all their gear for life. I’ve used their warranty myself when my tent had an issue, and they were very responsive.

  • Kelty: Lifetime
  • Mountain Summit: 2 years

The best carry bag

No more wrestling with tiny carry bags anymore – these are game-changing, seriously.

Lower weight capacity

  • Kelty: 400.0lbs
  • Mountain Summit: 500.0lbs

Ridge down the middle

I originally wanted to take up the whole seat and lie on it like a couch, but it’s not possible to do so – there’s a ridge in the middle that cuts into your back. (But all 2P chairs are like this anyway.)

The ridge in the middle of the Kelty Low Loveseat.
It’s also a little annoying if you wanna sit really close to your partner, but not a deal-breaker for me.
